The tough-talking Mayor of Davao City, Mayor Rodrigo Duterte who is now leading in various presidential surveys and even in mammoth political rallies bares his plans on how to fulfill his promise to the Filipino people. The 71-year-old Mayor of Davao City revealed some details on how to suppress the country’s primary problems in 3 to 6 months.

In an interview with the media, the members of the press asked him about his first Executive Order as President and he replied that he will raise the level of the country’s primary problem into a national security.
The mayor was quoted as saying “I will raise the level of the drug threat into a national security issue,” he said.
Mayor Duterte also revealed that he needs two divisions of the army, ranger-trained and needs at least 3,000 policemen who will be positioned with designated tasks. He will then ask the military and the police to go after the criminals and druglords and his orders will be “if they would resist with violence, kill them,” he elaborated.
He also plans to implement Davao City’s world-class 911 emergency response center on a national scale by upgrading the equipment used for law enforcement and response. When asked by reporters where he would get the money for his plan, he just replied that there’s plenty of money as long as it does not go to corruption.
