Veteran action star Robin Padilla who is considered as one of the many voluntarily supporters of Mayor Rodrigo Duterte heeds the call of the poor Filipino farmers in Kidapawan City who were victims of an unfair dispersals by the government security forces visited the protesters and donated a total of 260 sacks of rice.
Robin Padilla personally visited the Kidapawan City protesters who were staying at the Methodist Center in Kidapawan City. Aside from the 260 sacks of rice brought in by Robin Padilla, another 65 sacks of rice were donated to the farmers from different unknown individuals.
More than 300 protesters in Kidapawan City already returned to their respective homes but they were replaced with more than 300 other protesters from Makilala town. The new set of protesters were not allowed to joined the first group of supporters at the Spottwoods Methodist Center after government forces ordered to do so.
Aside from Robin Padilla, the camp of Mayor Rodrigo Duterte already promised earlier that the City Government of Davao will provide the needed 15,000 sacks of rice demanded by farmers.
