June Mar Fajardo Injured Anew His Right Knee During ROS Game

Reigning two-time MVP June Mar Fajardo once again hurt himself during San Miguel’s game against Rain or Shine, this time he injured his right knee after he step on ROS import Mo Charlo’s foot.

The incident happened during Beermen’s defense on the second quarter of the game, the former UC basktball star inadvertently bumped teammate Tyler Wilkerson when he turned around, which led him to accidentally step on Mo Charlo’s foot. The staff of San Miguel immediately iced his knee.

June Mar Fajardo tried to walk off the injury, however, he said that he felt pain and rating it as “four” whenever he tried to walk on it.

According to the 24-year-old Beerman, he will undergo MRI test to make sure about his injury and based upon initial findings he has a bruised knee. Fajardo was quoted saying “Papa-MRI ko na lang para sigurado,” said Fajardo. “Kasama na rin siguro yung pagod,” he added.

June Mar Fajardo had only four points, two rebounds, and two assists in his 12 minutes on the floor against one of their closest rival, Rain or Shine. The Cebuano big man suffered also his injury and was even sidelined during the Game 6 of the semifinals of the 2016 PBA All Filipino Cup when he hurt his left knee.
