Mayor Duterte: Corruption & Misery of Filipinos Will Continue if VP Binay Wins

Presidential aspirant and considered as the most popular candidate on social media, Mayor Rodrigo Duterte of Davao City revealed during a meeting with his supporters that the Philippines will have a bleak future if Vice President Jejomar Binay will emerge as the next leader of the country this coming elections.

In a press briefing during Mayor Duterte’s visit to Rizal Province the mayor noted that corruption and disorder in the Philippines will worsen once VP Binay succeed in his dreams of becoming the next president of the country.

Mayor Duterte stated “Ok lang matalo ako (It’s ok if I lose),” Duterte said. “But it’s important for you to know what is at stake in our country and who can solve it — crime, drugs, corruption.” the mayor said.

The 70-year-old Mayor Duterte said that the misery of the Filipinos is a consequence of having corrupt officials in the government. The Philipines is a great nation according to the PDP-Laban standard-bearer, but the country is sinking in the pit of poverty and disorder because of corrupt goverment officials.

According to Duterte, the misery of the Filipino people will continue to haunt them and will only worsen if Binay will be the next president.

“Ok lang sa akin matalo. Pero saan mo hanapin yan? Kay binay? Nakita ko kay Binay, ang lalaki ng braso. Aba, hindi madali mag bilang ng pera. 1 million lang abutin ka ng umaga,” he said.

The future president of the Philippines, Mayor Rody Duterte also scoffed at the failure of VP Binay to include corruption in his political agenda. “He cannot talk about corruption because he has a baggage,” mayor Duterte added.
