The Philippines will be celebrating the 30th anniversary of one of the world’s most popular bloodless revolution, the People Power revolt in EDSA by showcasing an “experiential” museum and an air show featuring the newest assets of the Philippine Air Force (PAF).
According to the organizers of the EDSA Anniversary, the People Power Experiential Museum combines elements of theater, cinema, photography, performances and installations which will be open to the public starting tomorrow, February 25 up to February 26, 2016.
The museum has nine halls depicting the oppression of martial rule, the struggle of Filipinos to awaken the nationalistic spirit of the m(–foul word(s) removed–) and the unity of those who went to EDSA to call for democracy after Pres. Marcos declared Martial Law because of the spread of communism in the Philippines.
The military also reminded those who want to visit the People Power Experiential Museum at Camp Aguinaldo to follow camp rules and to cooperate with organizers of the tour.
Aside from the experiential museum, the organizers also announced that the newest air assets of the Philippine Air Force, the two FA-50 lead-in fighters jet will take part in a military fly-by over the site of the celebration of the 30th anniversary of the Edsa People Power Revolution on Thursday.
