The controversial presidential candidate Sen. Grace Poe regained the top spot in the latest results of Pulse Asia Presidential Survey which was released on Saturday, February 6, 2016. The presidential aspirant outranked Vice President Jejomar Binay in the top spot of the Pulse Asia survey results.
Sen. Grace Poe who is running as an independent presidential candidate topped the Pulse Asia Survey with a 30% ratings while her closest rival Vice President Jejomar Binay of the United Nationalist Alliance ranked second with 23 percent, down from his 33 percent previous ratings.
During the December Pulse Asia Survey, Vice Pres. Binay topped the results in the presidential survey for the 2016 national elections.
Coming in third place is the standard-bearer of the Liberal Party, former DILG Secretary Manuel “Mar” Roxas with 20 percent ratings, up from 17 percent in the previous survey.
The most favorite candidate on social media, Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte placed fourth with 20 percent while Sen. Miriam Defensor Santiago ranked fifth scoring just 4 percent.
The Pulse Asia Survey was conducted from January 24 to January 28, 2016. In the Vice Presidential race, Sen. Chiz Escudero dominated the rankings with 33% and was followed by Sen. Bongbong Marcos with 23%.
