San Miguel Extends Finals Series to Game 7 After a Miraculous 3 Straight Wins

The San Miguel Beermen extends the PBA All Filipino Cup championship series into the penultimate Game 7 against the Alaska Aces winning three straight victories after suffering a three-game meltdown.

San Miguel’s cinderilla run to the finals is considered as “Beer-acle” for it is the very first time in history of the PBA that a team survived a 3-0 disadvantage and bounce back to extends the series to Game 7. The Beermen defeated Alaska with the final score of 100-89 during the Game 6 on Friday night.

Former Gilas mainstay Marcio Lassiter led the San Miguel Beer with his impressive 26 points performance and nine rebounds while the reigning MVP June Mar Fajardo tallied 16 markers and seven boards despite being used in limited minutes due to his injury.

Veteran Yancy de Ocampo also scored with 14 points and six rebounds, while Arwind Santos added a double-double performance with his 10 points and 15 rebounds.

Vic Manuel carried Alaska with 21 points and four rebounds, while Calvin Abueva wound up with a near double-double of 17 markers and nine rebounds before being ejected late in the game. RJ Jazul has 13 points, and JVee Casio got 11 in the defeat.
