Pia Wurtzbach to Host Inside Edition’s Special Correspondent at Super Bowl 50

Reigning Miss Universe title-holder Pia Wurtzbach will be making her debut as special correspondent for Inside Edition at the highly anticipated Super Bowl 50. The news magazine confirmed the newest project for Pia Wurtzbach through their official website on Monday (Tuesday in Manila).

In an article published on the website of Inside Edition, the 26-year-old Pia Wurtzbach was quoted to have said that this will be her first time to experience America’s biggest sporting event of the year.

“I’m excited to take viewers behind the scenes in the lead-up to the big event,” she said.

According to Inside Edition the Filipina beauty queen will also take viewers through game day coverage along with its correspondent Megan Alexander.

Pia Wurtzbach also revealed earlier during her homecoming press conference in Manila that she can’t stay long enough in the country because of a big opportunity waiting for her in California.

The Super Bowl 50 will be held at the Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California this coming February 7 (US Time). This will be the first Super Bowl to be held in California since the Super Bowl XIX in 1985. The Super Bowl 50 will feature the NFC Champion Carolina Panthers and the AFC Champion Denver Broncos.
