Kapamilya actor Matteo Guidicelli, the boyfriend of Sarah Geronimo fulfilled the wish of his Italian grandfather, Lolo Nono for his upcoming soap opera titled “Dolce Amore.” The newest soap of the actor alongside Enrique Gil and Liza Soberano is special to him.
During the TV guesting of the 25-year-old Matteo Guidicelli he shared that one of his granfather’s wish is for him to speak in Italian on his soap and probably shoot in Italy.
The actor was quoted as saying during the KrisTV interview on Wednesday “”You know in the end of the year ang sabi ko I just came out with my album, I had my first concert and I said I want to start 2016 promoting the album and concentrating on the album but this project came and my grandpa, before he passed, he said: ‘Matteo I wish you could do a soap in Italian and speak Italian on TV and shoot in Italy.’ I call him Nono,” he said.
During the time when his grandfather was still alive, he responded and told his grandfather: “‘Nono, I don’t think that’s going to happen, but okay we can wish for something hindi ba.'”
“A few weeks after Star Creatives called up and said ‘we want to pitch you something, Dolce Amore ang title. Ganito, Italian ka, magi-Italian ka,” Guidicelli said.
In the highly anticipated soap opera, Matteo Guidicelli will be portraying the role of an Italian and he will speak the language. Aside from English and Filipino, Guidicelli speaks Italian.
