Vice Presidential candidate Sen. Alan Peter Cayetano revealed during a interview with the media that the local candidates of the Duterte-Cayetano tandem are anxious over the disqualification case filed against the tough-talking Mayor of Davao City, Mayor Rodrigo Duterte.

In a news conference, Sen. Alan Peter Cayetano was quoted as saying “Ipokrito kami kung sasabihin na hindi napag-uusapan or some people don’t ask. It affects our candidacy in terms on local. Marami kasi talaga sa local gusto si Duterte pero ilan sa kanila nagtatanong kung kailan mase-settle yung DQ case,” Cayetano said in a news conference.
The Vice Presidential hopeful added that “Because they don’t want to support a candidate who doesn’t have a good chance of winning,” he stated.
Although the Duterte-Cayetano tandem are worried on the disqualification case, Sen. Cayetano also expressed confidence that Mayor Duterte wouldn’t be disqualified by the Commission on Elections like what happened to Sen. Grace Poe.
Sen. Cayetano also noted that Sen. Grace Poe and Mayor Duterte’s cases were quite different from each other. The Vice Presidential candidate noted that “First of all, very different ‘yung kay Senator Poe at Mayor Duterte kasi yung kay Poe ay substantial. It’s about citizenship. It’s about constitutional requirements. Kay Mayor Duterte, its procedural, saan ipa-file, ano dapat nakalagay,” Cayetano said.
s ibang kampo nmn galing panigurado ang DQ..at technichal lang ang mga cases..
