#WalangPasok: Various Local Government Units (LGUs) in the areas affected by Bagyong Nona together with the Department of Education (DepEd) and the Commission on Higher Education already declared the suspension of classes (Walang Pasok) in the provinces of Samar, Leyte, Camarines Norte and Camarines Sur to name a few.
In Northern Samar, Gov. Jose Ong Jr. has declared a suspension of classes in all levels today due to typhoon “Nona.” The announcement of the suspension of classes in Northern Samar was announced by Provincial Administrator Efren Sabong after Northern Samar was placed under Storm Signal No. 2.
Bagyong Nona is expected to hit land in Mapanas town, Northern Samar, between 10 a.m. and noon. The Provincial Disaster and Risk Reduction Council was convened on Sunday afternoon to organize rescue and readiness in a possible disaster.
PAGASA already raised the Public Storm Warning Signals (PSWS) as the typhoon continues to threaten the Samar-Sorsogon area.

Lucena City, Quezon – preschool and elementary
Albay – all levels
Camarines Sur – all levels
Camarines Norte – pre-school to high school
Masbate City, Masbate – preschool to high school
Bogo City, Cebu – elementary to high school
Medellin, Cebu – elementary to high school
Northern Samar – all levels
Biliran Island – preschool, elementary, secondary in the following towns:
Naval – pre-school, elementary and secondary
Biliran – pre-school, elementary
Kawayan – pre-school, elementary
Culaba – pre-school, elementary
Cabucgayan – pre-school, elementary
Caibiran – pre-school
Cathedral School of La Naval (CSN) – all levels
