Director of Roxas Music Video Claims Celebrities Featured Were “Free of Charge”

The director of the latest viral video featuring some of the countries famous celebrities supporting Mar Roxas claims that the artists featured in the video gamely participated in making the video free of charge. There is no talent fee involved as claimed by director Cristhian Escolano.

In a Facebook post made by the director he was quoted as saying “All the artists who came on board for the MTV volunteered when we spoke to them. No one was paid for this except the production team,” he said.

Aside from Mar Roxas, his vice presidential candidate Rep. Leni Robredo alongside with her children were featured in the music video.

According to the revelations made by the director, the music video served as a “gift” for Mar Roxas because he and other celebrities believe in his vision for the country.

Director Escolano was quoted as saying “The MTV is our gift, along with composers Billy Crawford, JayR and Kris Lawence to Mar Roxas as our humble contribution to the idea of Daang Matuwid and a Roxas leadership,” he said.

The director also claimed that the only expense they incurred in shooting the video was the fee for the production team, which was shouldered by individuals who believe in Mar Roxas since the equipment used was donated free of charge.
