The highly anticipated wedding of Cristine Reyes and her fiancé, Ali Khatibi, which was supposed to be held this December was postponed and moved to a later date in January. The wedding will be held in the exclusive island resort of Balesin.
Cristine Reyes and explained during an exclusive interview with Kris TV that they decided to postpone her wedding to January and have an intimate ceremony with only their respective families and a few close friends.
The actress stated that “Super excited ako na ikakasal na kami. And then nangyari yung wedding planning. Na-stress ako sa planning kasabay ng teleserye, yung construction ng bahay. Kapag nagwe-wedding plan pala, ang daming kailangan puntahan. Ang daming kailangan mag-decide kami together.”
Since they were pressed for time, Reyes and Khatibi decided to just move their wedding to January in Balesin, where they are supposed to do their pre-nuptial pictorial.
As part of the original wedding plan, Cristine Reyes revealed that they only want a laid back wedding. Cristine Reyes explained that their laid back wedding will feature the couple wearing just slippers and dress. The wedding was supposed to held at their newly constructed house but the said house is still under construction, so they decided to moved the wedding to Balesin.
Cristine Reyes and Al Khatibi got engaged last September and they were gifted with young healthy baby girl named, Amarah. The couple have been together since March 2014.
