Presidential sister Kris Aquino apologized for her Instagram post about her sunburn during the APEC Summit in Manila. The TV host and actress posted a humble message on her Instagram account on November 21, 2015. The actress posted the following message on Instagram:
“I humbly apologize for my failed attempt at self-depracating humor Thursday night that came across as being spoiled and insensitive.”
Kris Aquino made headlines for her post-APEC sunburn post which the actress stated was just a joke after netizens commented negatively with her post. The actress caught the attentions of most netizens after she posted the word “quits” referring to the experience of ordinary citizens during APEC.
Some netizens commented that the actress and TV host was insensitive to compare her sunburn to struggles the commuters faced during APEC.
