The phenomenal “AlDub” love team could make another history in the showbiz industry if they will accept an offer to do a Valentine concert for a whooping P20 million in talent fee. The accidental gold mine of Eat Bulaga! was offered by a veteran concert producer to stage a show to be held at the historic Smart Araneta Coliseum.
Former actor and currently a concert producer in the Philippines, Joed Serrano made a tantalizing offer to Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza. He is best known for bringing in world-renowned performer such as the five-member American a capella group Pentatonix.
Serrano revealed that bringing in the Pentatonix for a concert one in Cebu and the other one at the Araneta Coliseum, it cost him P9 million to mount, but grossed P18 million in ticket sales.
The P20-million offer to the AlDub love team is now considered as the biggest amount to be laid out on the table for the phenomenal TV love team featuring Alden Richards and Yaya Dub. The AlDub love team not only gained millions of fans but also numerous product endorsement deals worth millions of pesos.
The popular love team garnered a worldwide following and made a record-breaking 41 million tweets, the highest so far worldwide, during their “Tamang Panahon” event held at the Philippine Arena filled with more than 55,000 spectators.
Some initial reports released online stated that the concert producer made an offer only to Alden Richards but right now, the producer seems to change his mind and wanted the AlDub love team to be the star of the Valentine concert.
