Sen. Bongbong Marcos to Declare his Presidential Bid in Pangasinan

One of the most famous senator in the Philippines Senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. is expected to declare his presidential candidacy in Mangaldan town in Pangasinan this coming Sunday, September 27, 2015. The possible candidacy of the senator was revealed to the media by Oliver Lozano, spokesman for the newly formed coalition.

According to Oliver Lozano, a prominent member of the Kilusang Bagong Lipunan, the party founded by the late strongman Ferdinand Marcos, the newly formed coalition who will support Sen. Bongbong Marcos are composed of Kilusang Bagong Lipunan (KBL) members and Partido ng Manggagawa at Magsasaka (PMM).

The 58-year-old Ferdinand Marcos Jr., is scheduled to visit Mangaldan, Pangasinan to renew ties with the Pangasinenses and feel the pulse of the people and could be the right time for Marcos to officially declare his candidacy.

According to some political analysts, the general sentiment of people in the solid North is for Bongbong Marcos to run for President next year as revealed by Oliver Lozano.

According to Vicente Milloar, the chairman of Pagkakaisa ng mga Pilipino Para sa Pilipinas (PPP), Senator Marcos is definitely running for President and not as Vice President of the Republic of the Philippines.

The PPP, considered as a coalition of KB> and PMM, has already filed a petition for registration at the Commission on Elections (COMELEC) as duly registered political party for the 2016 national elections.
