Bagyong Jenny (Dujuan) Slightly Intensified (Sept. 24 Hourly Update)

The country’s weather bureau, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) warned that Bagyong Jenny (international name Dujuan) slightly intensified on Thursday morning but kept its slow pace.

Bagyong Jenny packed maximum sustained winds of 85 kilometers per hour near the center and gusts of up to 100 kph according to PAGASA.

PAGASA also noted that Bagyong Jenny moved slowly at 7 kph west northwest and was last observed 1,280 kilometers east of Calayan, Cagayan.

Right now there is no storm signals raised by the country’s weather bureau but PAGASA noted that Bagyong Jenny will will enhance the southwest monsoon prevailing in Visayas and Mindanao.
