The Pastillas Girl was originally discovered when her video about a recipe on how to make “pastillas” which is actually a satire about his boyfriend who cheated on her went viral online.
The Pastillas Girl was first introduced on It’s Showtime’s “AdVice Ganda,” and then appeared regularly on the show. The top-rating noontime show then created a segment for the Pastillas Girl who will be searching for a boyfriend through the noontime show. The said segment is considered as It’s Showtime’s answered to the growing popularity of the hit segment, “Kalyeserye” featuring the famous loveteam AlDub.
