One of the country’s most promising actor, Coco Martin revealed to the media about his rumored support to Sen. Grace Poe who will be running for Senator in 2016. According to Coco Martin he doesn’t want to make any statement if he’ll support the senator in the coming 2016 national elections.
Sen. Grace Poe formally announced to the Filipino that she’ll be running for President of the Republic in the 2016 national elections, twelve years after his late father Fernando Poe Jr., vied for the same position.
During previous interviews with some of the country’s most popular news outlet, the 33-year-old Coco Martin said it’s too early to tell if she’ll endorse Poe in 2016. Coco Martin has close ties with Poe’s mother Susan Roces.
When asked by the media if Coco Martin will support Sen. Grace Poe, he replied “Hindi pa po ako makakasagot ngayon,” replied Coco when asked if he’ll endorse Poe on 2016.
Coco Martin also revealed some reasons why he don’t want to reveal his intentions of supporting Sen. Grace, during the press con for his upcoming show “Ang Probinsiyano” on Wednesday, a few hours after Poe declared she will run for president in 2016. The
“Honestly ang stand ko do’n, hindi pa ako nakakapag-isip sa gano’ng bagay,” he added. “Next year pa po ang eleksyon. Gusto ko muna malaman ‘yong plataporma niya.”
