One of the country’s most popular TV show, “Your Face Sounds Familiar” which is now on its second season debuted strongly in terms of nationwide TV ratings as it open strongly last Saturday scoring a national TV rating that’s nearly double that of its rival program.
Based upon the latest TV ratings survey results released by Kantar Media, the September 12 episode of “Your Face” scored a national TV ratings of 31.7% while it’s rival programs GMA-7’s “Celebrity Bluff” had 16.2%.
The second episode of the show aired on September 13, “Your Face” garnered a national TV rating of 27.3%, while the rival show of the program “Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho,” only got a total of 23.2%.
During the first week of “Your Face Sounds Familiar” comedian Eric Nicolas was declared as the first weekly winner topping the seven other contestants with his brilliant impersonation of his ultimate idol Willie Revillame, as he garnered an overall score of 42 points.
Aside from Eric Nicolas, Sam Concepcion came in second place with 7 points, Kakai Bautista as Sia (18 points), Kean Cipriano as Harry Styles (15 points), Denise Laurel as Jennifer Lopez (12 points), Myrtle Sarrosa as Sandara Park (8 points), KZ Tandingan as Vina Morales (5 points), and Michael Pangilinan as George Michael (5 points).
Next week’s episode of the show will feature Sam Concepcion as Jason Derulo, Nicolas as Louis Armstron, Cipriano as Randy Santiago, Sarrosa as Jessa Zaragoza, Laurel as Christina Aguilera, Bautista as Ai Ai delas Alas, Tandingan as Pink and Pangilinan as Janno Gibbs.
