Esang de Torres, the “mini-me” of Coach Lea Salonga will now moved on to the next round of The Voice Kids Philippines Season 2 after she won in the Sing-Offs of the country’s most popular singing competition on national TV. The former “It’s Showtime” contestant performed the song “Isang Mundo, Isang Awit,” during the Sing-Offs of The Voice Kids Season 2.

Kamp Kawayan’s Coach Bamboo praised the impressive performance of Esang during the Sing-Offs because according to the OPM rock icon, Esang was so comfortable on stage during her number. Coach Bamboo was quoted as saying “I’m gonna watch out for you. You’re the one to watch out for,” he told de Torres.
Coach Lea Salonga on her part praised Esang de Torres for further improving her performance on stage and was quoted as saying “Kung gaano ka man kagaling noong rehearsal, ginalingan mo pa sa performance mo. Isa lang ‘yung hiningi ko at naibigay mo lang sa akin, na ngumiti. Naramdaman namin ‘yung pagmamahal galing sa iyo,” she said.
Esang De Torres will represent Team Lea (FamiLEA) in the live shows of the singing competition alongside fellow semi-finalist Reynan Del-Anay of Team Sarah. The other artists who took part in the Sing-Offs were eliminated contestants Jonalyn Pepito, Luke Alford, Jhyleanne Rington, and Akisha Sianson.
