American Idol finalist and runner-up Jessica Sanchez will return to the Philippines for a concert in Manila this August 2015. The young international singer will hold another concert in the country which some entertainment writers dubbed as an “intimate” one. The Fil-Am became well-known worldwide after she made it to the grand finals of American Idol.
The half-Filipino and half-Mexican singer was born and raised in the United States, she made a name for herself when she first competed in America’s Got Talent at an early age of 11. Her vocal powers was then showcased to America’s most popular singing competition, the American Idol.
Jessica Sanchez joined the eleventh season of the American Idol and made it to the grand finals, unfortunately she was defeated by Phillip Phillips, the winner of the American Idol 2012.
The Fil-Am singer then started her career in the music industry by signing with 19 Recordings and Interscope Records. Meanwhile, Jessica Sanchez concert in the Philippines will be her second since her first solo concert in the country was held last February 14, 2013.
