The latest movie offering from Star Cinema titled “The Breakup Playlist” conquered the box office ratings in the Philippines in just one week of showing. The first big screen team-up of Sarah Geronimo and Piolo Pascual, has earned more than P100 million since its released in more than 100 theaters nationwide.
The ABS-CBN movie outfit, Star Cinema made an official announcement about the box office earnings of the movie which is directed by veteran director Dan Villegas.
According to the box office tally of Star Cinema, the Piolo-Sarah movie debuted strongly at the box office last Wednesday earning more than P15 million on its opening day in over 190 cinemas from across the Philippines.
Aside from the box office achievement of the movie featuring veteran actor Piolo Pascual and The Voice of the Philippines coach Sarah Geronimo, the management announced that movie “The Breakup Playlist” is also set to have its international screenings.
