Senator Nancy Binay confirmed to Bandera columnist Jobert Sucaldito that she was mistaken as a maid inside her father’s own house. The incident happened when the Vice President, VP Jejomar Binay invited some mayors for a gathering inside the Vice President’s residence in Makati City.
The 42-year-old Sen. Nancy Binay told Sucaldito that the incident happened during a breakfast event at her father’s house. She revealed that she visited her father’s house during that time and she just came out from her bed. Sen. Binay was just clad in shorts and white t-shirts and went directly to the kitchen.
The Senator helped their housemaids in preparing for her father’s breakfast which also includes some mayors who visited the Vice President during that time.
Sucaldito could not stop herself from laughing when the senator revealed that she was called by one of the mayor and was told “Inday, pahingi rin ako ng pagkain,” the poor senator just obliged to the order of the mayor, who did not know it was the senator.
The story was just shared by Jobert Sucaldito on his column posted on Bandera, as a recollection of stories from someone who was working inside the Binay Family’s residence.
Although the veracity of the report could not be verified, but such a gesture of Senator Binay is worthy of commendation, only if it is true, because some sources noted that Jobert Sucaldito is one of the Senator’s closed friend.
