Ashley Simone Teves, the young singer from Dumaguete City joined the elite list of three-chair-turner in the top-rating reality singing competition in the country, The Voice Kids Philippines. The aspiring young singer performed the song “Stay With Me,” during her blind audition.
The 12-year-old aspiring young singer from the Visayas, impressed coach Bamboo who turned his chair after a few notes of Ashley Simone Teves who is also known as Sim Teves as her short name.
Ashley Simone Teves who acknowledged right after her performance that she is a daughter of a lawyer and a licensed embalmer, showcased her singing skills by performing one of Sam Smith’s greatest hits titled “Stay With Me.”
Aside from Coach Bamboo Manalac, the other two coaches, coach Sarah Geronimo and coach Lea Salonga also turned their chair for the young singer. Coach Sarah was the last coach who turned her chair for Sim Teves.
Ashley Simone Teves eventually chose to be part of Coach Bamboo’s Kamp Kawayan as she became the ninth member of the team. Aside from Sim Teves, Kamp Kawayan members include Eman and Sandy Tanio, Altair Aguelo, Atascha Mercado, Benedict Inciong, Christian Pasno, Lance Macalinao, Martina Luis, and Romeo Espino.
