The top-rating Kapamilya series made a historic run on Philippine primetime TV showings as they conquered the viewing habits of the Filipino for the seventh consecutive episode of the show. One of the most interesting episode of Pangako Sa ‘Yo features the confrontation of Jodi Sta. Maria and Ian Veneracion.
During the June 2, 2015 telecast of the primetime series that dominated the Twitter trending topics worldwide, the two main characters Amor (Jodi Sta. Maria) and Eduardo (Ian Veneracion) involved in a confrontation.
Amor begs Eduardo to believe her over his brother Diego, which was played by Bernard Palanca, who claimed that Amor willingly gave herself to his brother when they were both drunk.
Despite the fact that Amor claims desperately, that Diego forced himself on her and punched her unconsciousness before bringing her home, Eduardo did not listen even Amor noted that Eduardo would kill his brother if she tells anyone what happened.
The repeated appeal of Amor was all in vain, as Eduardo was already convinced by his mother Benita (Pilar Pilapil), Diego (Bernard Palanca) and Claudia (Angelica Panganiban) that Amor wouldn’t have agreed to be brought home if she was indeed a victim.
