Following her mother Sharon Cuneta’s revelation of a rift between them, KC Concepcion admitted that her family is going through a problem she hopes to be fixed.
In a recent beneficiary event, the actress was cornered by media seeking her side on the matter.
“You know, we’re mother and daughter,” Concepcion said. “I will love my mom. My mom is my mom forever so I will love her forever. As any mother and daughter, we’re not perfect.”
Earlier, however Cuneta expressed her frustration over a sexy photo of Concepcion adding she is hurt whenever she sees her daughter posing for sexy photos.
The veteran star also pointed out that these have been repeated instances.
“The reasons are sad and not made public as they are personal and have been going on for way longer than people will ever know.” she said referring to the rift with daughter.
More than Concepcion’s sexy photos, Cuneta also hinted that her daughter’s behavior towards her has also been a problem.
While answering to a certain follower, Cuneta left a meaningful reply.
“And yes, she is an adult now…I think adults should know better especially in terms of gratitude and respect, don’t you think?” she said referring to the advice to let go of daughter.
In the interview, Conception chose to mum over the issues and conflict they are going through.
“I feel na to protect her, ayoko nang magsalita at palakihin ‘yung issue, and because I love my family, I feel na… I’m very hopeful na whatever we’ve been going through for a long time na, will be fixed,” she said.
She then disclosed: “I’d like to keep family affairs private. For me, and this is just me — to protect my family, to protect my mom, I would rather keep our family affairs private.”
