Undoubtedly, Daniel Padilla is one of the most-valued teen stars of his generations considering his charisma in the industry and needles to say, his talent.
However, as younger as he is, there are already issues being thrown to the young actor including being compared with other actors.
Addressing the issues pitting him against fellow actor James Reid, the teen star has said in a recent interview that there is no awkwardness between him and actor .
KathNiel, love team composing of Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo are often compared by fans to Jadine, Reid and on-screen partner Nadine Lustre’s tandem.
“Wala, wala naming ilangan. Kapwa nating artista ‘yan. Kaibigan natin ‘yan,” Padilla said after the press conference of his upcoming series with Bernardo, the re-make of “Pangako Sa ‘Yo”
Padilla added that he considers Reid as a friend noting that they have already worked together for Star Magic shows.
“Magkaibigan kami ni James. Talagang dati pa…magkaibigan na kami,” he said.
Earlier in an interview, Reid said he hope to work with KathNiel tandem.
