The long-time respected boxing commentator thinks it should be Floyd Mayweather’s fault for turning the match into a huge flop.

“He fought the way he did as usual, which I would describe as boring”, Sheridan said.

However, Sheridan, admitted that the boring way and style of Mayweather is the reason behind why he is successful.

“That’s why he’s making the big bucks and has done so well,” he said.

Mayweather was booed after winning to unanimous decision against the Filipino boxer in their fight last week.

The big fight surprised most fans as it end up below their expectation even calling it as “underwhelming”.

Thus, Sheridan believes the “Fight of Century” will be faded out as one one of the more-forgettable fights of the history.

“No one’s going to talk about this as one of the great fights. It can’t be compared with the likes of those like Hagler vs. Hearns”, he said.

About Mayweather to be remembered as “the best ever”, Sheridan dismissed the boxer’s insistence.

“He will be remembered as the guy who beat Pacquiao, Canelo Alvarez, and the rest. That’s it. That’s how he will be remembered”, he added pointing out Mayweather as just the boxer who put up unexciting fights.

“Mayweather is kind of a boring guy to watch,” the boxing commentator disclosed.
