“I was moving a little bit, but I wasn’t moving a lot. I will come forward, he (Pacquiao) will come forward. We both went out there and done what we were supposed to do,” Mayweather told reporters later.

Most likely most fans were not impressed with how Mayweather put up the game, even saying it is not worth the tickets but the boxer had a short response saying, “I did what I had to do, he did what he had to do.”

Mayweather aiming to be with Rocky Marciano’s record is one win away with now 48 wins.

“(He said that) because probably he has his moments. Sometimes we feel that way when he has his moments,” said the 38-year-old before addressing Filipino fans who hate him.

The Michigan boxer even told Filipino fans to stay behind Pacquiao and keep supporting him.

He also added that his latest victory did not truly define his career. “I just won one fight. It will not define my career. Every fight played a major key, every fight was important to me,” he said.

However, during the post-fight conference Mayweather addressed to his supporters saying, “You guys said this guy could beat Floyd. I want you guys to eat your words.” (as reported in Newsday)
