‘I Thought I Won the Fight’ Says Pacquiao

Though Manny Pacquiao failed to blemish the record of opponent Floyd Mayweather as announced by the judges, the Filipino pug is convinced he won the fight.

“It was a good fight. I thought I won the fight,” Pacquiao said before a displeased crowd at the MGM Grand Garden Arena.

As most fans say Mayweather did no good inside the ring, Pacquiao also aired his opponent did not do anything but ‘move around’.

Pacquaio as he said, in the all 12 rounds of the megafight, he was able to throw ‘solid punches’ against Mayweather.

“It’s not easy to throw a lot of punches if he kept on moving around,” Pacquiao said. “If he stayed, I can throw a lot of punches.”

Meanwhile, the Compubox stats reported shortly after the ‘fight of the century’ that Mayweather did send Pacquio most punches and connected better as his opponent did.

Most people and local sports analysts, however, dismayed in the results say Pacquiao threw more punches than the victor, even booed Mayweather when he was announced triumphant.
