Pop star Britney Spears has suffered an ankle injury after her prod Wednesday leading to the rescheduling of her Friday and Saturday night performances on the Las Vegas Strip.

Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino where Spears performs her “Britney: Piece of Me” show shared Thursday that the singer’s doctor recommender she take two days of rest.
The statement also said that Spears injured herself during her performance when she danced.
Meanwhile, a video footage of Spears was taken by an audience showing the performer kicking and high-stepping on high heels, causing her left ankle to give up during her single performance.
The pop star also took Twitter Wednesday to thank her fans.
“Had a little scare on stage tonight with my ankle but I’m ok!” she tweeted.
