Competing in the upcoming Southeast Asia Basketball Association (SEABA) tournament and SEA Games, Sinag Pilipinas revealed its 12-man line up completing the national basketball team.
Marcus Douthit, a Naturalized Filipino and a veteran of the FIBA-Asia Championship will lead the Philippine National Team alongside Kiefer Ravena who is the reigning University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP) Most Valuable Player, Ray Parks Jr., Mac Belo, Troy Rosario, and Kevin Ferrer.
Other players who made it to the big basketball stint include National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) valued players Scottie Thompson, Glenn Khobuntin, Almond Vosotros, Norbert Torres, Jio Jalalon, and Russel Escoto.
Meanwhile, Ravena told CNN Philippines during an interview that he is confident with the players who were selected to represent the country. He also added that he trust the coaching staff and is looking forward to play with the new set of players in the Sinag.
The SEABA tournament is set to run from April 27 to May 1 in Singapore. Sinag Pilipinas should win the SEABA to qualify in the FIBA Asia Championship sometime in September.
