“The Fault in Our Stars” dominated on the recently conducted MTV Movie Awards 2015 on Sunday after raking 4 awards during the awarding ceremony.
Shailene Woodley, lead star of the romantic-comedy movie also wins big on the awards night. The 23-year-old actress won the Best Female Performance award and Best Kiss award along with co-star Ansel Elgort.
The Trailblazer awardee dedicated her emotional acceptance speech to John Green, the person behind the hit novel wherein the film was based.
“It changed my life when I read it and dramatically influenced who I am today, and his words will transcend time,” she said.
“The Fault in Our Stars” centers on the love story of a cancer-stricken Hazel Grace Lancaster and Augustus Waters.
