The country’s highest court, the Supreme Court of the Philippines released the official results of the October 2014 Bar Exam on Thursday, March 26, 2015. According to the Supreme Court, a total of 1,126 out of 5,984 takers passed the exam with San Beda graduate Irene Mae Alcobilla toppin the list of topnotchers with a grade of 85.5%.
The official results of the October 2014 Bar exam was released after five months of waiting through Justice Diosdado Peralta, who announced the results officially.
The Supreme Court also announced that the 2014 Bar Exam passing rate is at 18.82% which is considered as lower compared to the 2013 figures with 22.18% passing rate or 1,174 out of 5,593 passed the examinees with a passing grade of 73%.
