The world’s most popular boy band, One Direction finally arrived in the Philippines on Friday night with only four members because of the absence of Zayn Malik who returned to the United Kingdom because of stress and needs to recuperate. The four members of One Direction is currently in the Philippines as they prepared for their two-day concert this weekend.
The four member of One Direction namely Nial Horan, Liam Payne, Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson will perform in the country particularly at the Mall of Asia Open Ground on March 21, and 22 as part of the band’s “On The Road Again” tour.
According to the statement of One Direction’s handler, band member Zayn Malik has quit the two remaining legs of the Asian tour after being “signed off with stress” and is “flying back to the UK to recuperate.”
Before the highly anticipated concert of One Direction in the country, the Bureau of Immigration said concert organizers have paid a cash bond amounting to P200,000 each for Malik and Tomlinson over the alleged concerned of various groups.
The bond given to the Philippine government will be forfeited should the two members of One Direction get caught using or promoting illegal drugs.
The popular UK boy band One Direction is known worldwide with some its hit songs continued to dominate the airwaves such as “What Makes You Beautiful,” “Live While We’re Young” and “Night Changes.”
