A new twist will be introduced in the newest season of the returning Kapamilya Deal Or No Deal, as the 26K Girls will be replaced with celebrities from different genres. The world renowned “Deal Or No Deal” franchise which originated from Netherlands will introduce a new innovation which is highly anticipated by fans in the Philippines.
Luis Manzano, the host of the Kapamilya Deal or No Deal revealed that the program will have 20 celebrities holding one briefcase each, replacing the so-called 26K Girls which was later reduced to 24 and now with just 20 briefcase.
The 20 celebrities will be dubbed as the “20 Lucky Stars,” and will each have an unknown amount of prize money in his or her briefcase. Aside from the announcement of the 20 participating celebrities, the show also revealed that they will introduce another twist to the popular game show.
In the upcoming season of the Kapamilya Deal or No Deal, the studio player will also come from the 20 stars or celebrities. Before the game starts, a online roulette will determine who among the Lucky Stars will be the player for the day. The chosen player may opt to keep his or her briefcase, or trade it with one held by another Lucky Star.
Luis Manzano also noted that the 20 Lucky Stars include a teen heartthrob, a beauty queen, a standup comedian, an action star, a character actor, and a sexy actress. Although the host hinted about the 20 lucky stars but he did not elaborate the names of 20 celebrities.
The highly anticipated edition of the Kapamilya Deal or No Deal will premiere on Monday, February 9, 20115.
