Former PBB housemate Bret Jackson denies allegations that he is using his friendship with one of the hottest young stars today, James Reid, in order to get publicity or to promote his upcoming projects.
According to Bret Jackson during an interview with entertainment website Pep.ph, he explained that there is no truth to such rumors because for the past few years he and James Reid were already best friends even during the time when Reid was not as popular compared to this day.
Bret Jackson was quoted as saying during the interview “My best friend is James Reid. Why would I have to use anybody? I was best friends with James before he was even famous. I was with him for years na,” he said.
The former PBB housemate added further that “I really don’t care about fame or any of that stuff. I’m doing this because I was given the opportunity. Who wouldn’t take the opportunity ‘di ba?” he said.
James Reid and Bret Jackson were used to be housemates during the 2010 edition of the PBB, the Pinoy Big Brother Teen Clash 2010, and since then, they have remained good friends.
One of the latest controversy involving the two former housemates, when it was rumored that James Reid was courting actress Andi Eigenmann but Reid denied and set the records straight that it was Bret Jackson who is interested in Andi Eigenmann.
