Jamie Rivera Blessed by Pope Francis After Performing “We Are All God’s Children”

Jamie Rivera performed the papal visit theme song “We Are All God’s Children” which was accompanied by some chosen children before a smiling Pope Francis at the Mall of Asia (MOA) Arena on Friday, January 17, 2014. The popular Christian singer, Jamie Rivera and the children who performed was then blessed by Pope Francis after their performance.

The children and Jamie Rivera sang the tune about mercy and compassion during the conclusion of the Pope Francis meeting with Filipino families, which highlighted the experiences of those who live in poverty, family members of OFW’s, and those caring for persons with disabilities.

According to the 48-year-old Jamie Rivera she feels so blessed and thankful for having the opportunity to perform for Pope Francis on her composition “We Are All God’s Children.”

The song composed and interpreted by Jamie Rivera was performed during the Meeting with Families event in SM Mall of Asia Arena on Friday, January 16, 2015. Jamie Rivera performed the song while some children did the choreography.

Pope Francis smiled during the performance of Jamie Rivera while he listened to Archbishop Luis Antonio Cardinal Tagle’s translation of the song performed by the singer.
