Kapamilya star Anne Curtis, one of the most followed Twitter user in the world and ranked No. 1 in the Philippines, is among the personalities featured in a book of curated tweets from more than one hundred personalities in the Asia-Pacific region. The confirmation of Anne Curtis’ inclusion in the elite list of personalities as Twitter Top Influencers was made by the actress through a post on her official social media account.
The 29-year-old “Dyesebel” actress shared a photo of a letter she received from Patminder Singh, managing director of Twitter in Southeast Asia, informing the TV host and actress of her inclusion in the “Tweets from the Top.”
Based upon the theme of the book which reads that “Local Voices, Global Reach,” it provides examples of how top executives and other personalities use the micro-blogging site Twitter “to stay on top of their game, build thought leadership, move the market, share their perspectives, celebrate culture, and their people.”
Aside from Anne Curtis, other Filipino personalities who are featured in the “Tweets from the Top” include Hayas Media Ortega CEO Jos Ortega, PLDT Chairman Manuel (Manny) Pangilinan, BBDO Guerero creative chairman David Guerrero, former senator Francis Pangilinan, President Benigno Aquino III, Senator Miriam Defensor Santiago and Smart executive Leah Besa-Jimenez.
Kapamilya actress, host and model Anne Curtis joined Twitter in March 2009 and currently has more than 7.56 million followers and counting, making her as the most followed Twitter user in the Philippines and she even ranked 159th worldwide, more popular compared to Jessie J, Adam Levine and Hugh Jackman.
