Elmer Jun Hilario made it to the list of official contestant in the top rating singing competition in the country, The Voice of the Philippines Season 2 after he passed the Blind Audition which was aired on Saturday, November 21, 2014. The wedding singer performed the song “The Sign” during the blind audition.

According to The Voice, Elmer Jun Hilario can play a total of seven instruments simultaneously which is unique from any entertainer. He became one of the newest member of Coach Sarah Geronimo after the Pop Princess was convinced with the singer’s rendition of Ace of Base hit song.
The 25-year-old Elmer Jun Hilario is a full time wedding singer, who noted right after his blind audition performance that his first choice among the four coaches is Coach Sarah Geronimo, the lone coach who turned around for him.
Although Coach Bamboo did not turn for Elmerjun but he noted that after he knew that the artist can play seven crazy instruments he planned to steal Elmer Jun from Coach Sarah.
Coach Sarah on his part was quoted as saying “Masayang-masaya ako at umikot ako para sa’yo. Sabi ni Coach Bamboo kanina parang nahalata niya na parang kinakabahan ka. Hindi ko narinig, kasi naririnig ko ‘yung puso mo, ang kumakanta, para sa amin. Para bang, you really saw the sign, at gustong-gusto ko na hyper ka, na talagang positive ka, optimistic ka sa lahat ng bagay, kaya, wow, thank you. Congratulations, Elmer Jun,” Coach Sarah said.
