The veteran singer and actress, dubbed as the country’s “Divine Diva,” Zsa Zsa Padilla has denied the rumors that she is set to get married with her boyfriend, renowned architect Conrad Onglao.
In an interview with entertainment portal PEP, Zsa Zsa Padilla said that the rumors are not true because they have yet to talk about wedding plans. However, she also hopes that their relationship will get there in the future.
“Wala pa naman, hindi pa naman klaro. Siyempre when you are in a relationship with someone, you make plans, you build dreams together. Ang prayer ko lang sana, kung ano man, ‘di ba, umabot din dun. I don’t know… wala namang nakakaalam pa nun,” she said.
Rumors about Zsa Zsa Padilla and Conrad Onglao’s upcoming wedding circulated when a blogging website announced that they are set to tie the knot in the first quarter of 2015.
During the interview, the 50-year-old actress said that they are still getting to know each other more and slowly learning each other’s world. The couple have been together for eight months already.
“Siyempre magkaiba kami ng mundo, he gets out of his way na malaman niya ang mundo ko. Kanina nga, naghintay siya sa ‘ASAP.’ Ilang oras siyang nakaupo lang, nagso-solitaire lang siya, nag-aabang lang siya,” she said.
Conrad Onglao is the first boyfriend of Zsa Zsa Padilla after her husband, the late Comedy King, Dolphy, passed away two years ago. The two went public with their relationship in April.
