The former “The Voice Kids” contestant Juan Karlos Labajo said that he is not competing with his co-finalist Darren Espanto. In fact, he had his full support.
In an interview with Push, the “Hawak Kamay” star congratulated Darren Espanto for his successful sold-out concert last October 4. He emphasized that his other “The Voice Kids” co-finalists Lyca Gairanod and Darlene Vibares have an all out support for him
“First of all congrats kay Darren. Wow ang layo na ng narating mo bro then you already have your concert,” he said. “Opo, all out support naman po kami sa isa’t-isa.”
Darren Espanto, who is now being dubbed as “Total Performer”, announced during his concert at the Music Museum that he will soon release his debut album and there will be a repeat of his concert.
The 13-year-old Juan Karlos Labajo admitted that he is currently waiting for the next project to be offered to him after the family drama series “Hawak Kamay.”
When asked if he will work for another series, he replied: “May nagsasabi ng teleserye about something pero hindi ko pa po talaga sure. Hindi ko po muna sasabihin kasi baka sabihin ko tapos mali lang po.”
Juan Karlos Labajo was happy also to announce that he will have a Christmas album with “The Voice Kids” contestants but he is unsure if he will have a solo album.
