Superstar Nora Aunor is set to work again with director Brillante Mendoza for the movie showing how the super typhoon Yolanda hit the country especially the Tacloban Area. They first worked together at the movie entitled “Thy Womb.”
On the press conference on her upcoming horror movie entitled “Dementia,” she said that the principal photography for the Yolanda movie will start next week. Meanwhile, her “Dementia” movie is set to hit cinemas starting September 24, 2014.
According to her, her team will be heading to Tacloban this September 26, 2014. In which, they will be starting to work for the movie Yolanda. She also said that she will be working with other movie. This one is based on ABS-CBN.
Based on her, Yolanda film will be about the story of a mother who had lost her children during the super typhoon Yolanda. The said super typhoon hit the country last year and had affected many lives. In fact, almost a year after it happened, there are still those who did not recover yet. Indeed, this super typhoon was the strongest tropical cyclone ever recorded.
In addition to the details of the movie, Nora said that her 3 children were lost but still, she did not believe that they are all gone. She is still hoping to them soon.
Aside from it, Nora had actually been working several independent movies. In which, she said that she won’t get tired on making on doing quality and good films for her fans.
Lastly, she expresses appreciation to her fans that did not stop on supporting her despite of her age.
Unfortunately because of Yolanda I became interested in your beautiful country and met here in the net a now 27 y.o. girl, who is a real victim. She comes from Leyte-City, her family did run a very small coconut farm there, everething is still damaged and after an almost one year stay at her aunt in Cebu she could go back to her family two weks ago for the first time.
