The actress and singer Nikki Gil was made to react about the issue of her former boyfriend of five years Billy Crawford, who posted bail on Monday after being detained on Sunday September 7, 2014.

In an interview with the entertainment media, the “Hawak Kamay” star said that she prefers not comment about the controversy since she was not involved.
“I was asked about it, which I don’t understand because I’m not involved in any way,” she said. “But I wasn’t raised to celebrate the misfortune of others. I guess that’s all I have to say about the issue.”
The “Bright Lights” hit maker was charged with malicious mischief and disobedience to person in authority after he broke the glass of one of the sliding doors at Taguig Police Station 7 last Sunday. Billy Crawford, who admitted being drunk at the time, said that he went to the station because he “needed to be in a controlled environment,” for his safety and others.
Billy Crawford has yet to return in the top-rating noon time show “It’s Showtime”. But according to his girlfriend, actress Coleen Garcia, the singer-actor has already resumed taping in “Moron 5” sequel.
When asked to react about the comments that Billy Crawford was never involved in any controversy while they were still a couple, Nikki Gil replied: “I also want to respect the people that we are currently… You know, there are other parties involved din, eh. Respetuhin nalang natin ‘yon.”
