Jomari Yllana is currently busy on his preparation on the international competition that he will be joining this October. This is known to be the Hyuandai Accent Cup Race. He is actually the first Filipino to join in the said international competition. This will happen in Korea.
He will be joining in the Fifth and Sixth race. “I’ll be the first Filipino to compete in that category in Korea… first ever,” he said.
He is actually active in looking for sponsors in this international competition. He is looking for those who will support him in his needs to pursue this international competition. According to him, it’s really hard to look for sponsors in this kind of sports. He said it on Pep.ph.
He also said that it is just like he is producing a movie. He just need one month for his preparation.
“Ang kailangan ko, airline company to sponsor my tickets because I need to fly my team,” he explained.
Based on him, they will be bringing mechanics in their team. “May mekaniko kaming lilipad. So, in a team, may lima kami, yung press corps… so I need an airline company,” he added.
He said that anyone who is willing to help is very much welcome on him. He actually specify Bench and Smart to help him in their budget aspects.
On this matter, he chose GMA-7 as his media partner. According to him, he already talked to it. They are now just waiting for the papers to make things clear.
He also said that he wants all Filipinos to know about his international competition. Because according to him, it is it was his first international race and of course he will be bringing the name of the country in the said competition.
Let’s just hope for the win for the Yllana team in their soon to be international competition.
