Physician Board Exam 2014 Got 2 Topnotchers

This year, medicine exam got 2 topnotchers. They are Eric Royd Talavera and Raymund Martin Li.

Eric Royd Talavera is a summa cum laude in their batch in University of Santo Tomas (UST). He is actually just top 2 in his class. Jesus Valencia who is the UST Faculty of Medicine and Surgery dean said that they are always expecting the best from their graduates and top the  board exams as well. This one is based on the news in Philstar.

On the other hand, Raymund Martin Li is a graduate of Cebu Institute of Medicine. He obtained the score of 89.58 percent in the Physician Licensure Examination of the Professional regulation Commision. This was held last week.

Li is 26 years old at the moment. According to him, he was not expecting to top the exam. Though he admitted that he expected to pass the said exam but not to top it on the first place. He also said that he did not exerted any special preparation for the exam. It was just in May since he started to study in a daily habit.

He also said that a week before the exam, he just took lighter views. He is attributing his success to God, his family and friends. And of course to the CIM administration who have helped him to form his good study habits. At the moment, he is planning to take his internal medicine residency training in either Manila or Cebu.

Sept. 11, 12, 15 and 16, 2014 are the scheduled date for the registration of the issuance of the PRC card and Certificate of Registration. Oath taking is yet to be announced.
