PBA MVP and Gilas Pilipinas standout June Mar Fajardo is considered as the second most efficient international player in the 2014 FIBA World Cup of Basketball just behind NBA veteran and Spanish national team member, Pau Gasol.
According to the latest ratings released by Real GM, the Filipino basketball star has an efficiency rating of 44.92, just behind Pau Gasol’s rating of 48.66. Although the 24-year-old June Mar Fajardo saw action in just nine minutes per game giving naturalized Filipino Andray Blatche some breather, Fajardo has been efficient for his averaged of six points, four rebounds and one shot block while shooting 59.3% from the field during Gilas Pilipinas first three games.
June Mar Fajardo managed to produce his total average in the first three games of Gilas Pilipinas while committing only with one turnover. He also shot at 7-of-12 from the field and converts all of his four free throws.
The Cebuano center’s best game performance was during the Gilas Pilipinas game against the giant frontline of Greece, wherein he finished with 10 points in 10 minutes of action. The 34-year-old Pau Gasol’s averaged is at 23.7 points, in 25.7 minutes per game. He also grabbed a total of 6.7 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 2.3 blocks while shooting a remarkable 65.1% from the field.
