An artist named Hael Pinat’s pays tribute to his latest series of posters. It had a message read as “Salamat, Gilas.” This served as a tribute to the Philippine national team after its campaign in the FIBA Basketball World Cup.
Filipinos have really shown that they will not let defeat to let them down. They have shown that after so many lose, they still want to fight. This is proven after the string of heartbreaking defeats in their team. After which, they still have managed to achieve a historic record having 81-79 win in overtime over Senegal. This had then end the drought of the country in the world basketball stage.
The said artist have shown how proud and thankful he was on the skills ans spirits shown by Gilas. This news is based on GMA News.
He also have produced such posters that features the heroes of the victory over Senegal. With it is the team captain Jimmy Alapag and back-up June Mar Fajardo as the back up center.
In addition, the said artist have somehow gained some acclaims from the local basketball community for his artwork in online community. He have also featured the epic dunk of Gilas forward Gabe Norwood.
