The Philippine National Team is now ready to go up against the world’s most popular basketball teams in the upcoming FIBA World Cup which will be held in Spain from August 30, 2014 up to September 14, 2014. The Gilas Pilipinas is bracketed with the Group B, the schedule of games was already released by FIBA featuring the games of the Gilas Pilipinas.
All games of the Gilas Pilipinas will be held at one of the World Cup Venue, the Palacio Municipal De Deportes San Pablo, in the Spanish southern city of Sevilla. The City of Sevilla is the fourth largest city in Spain and the capital of Andalusia and the Province of Seville. The Philippines will face Croatia on August 30, Greece on August 31, Argentina on September 1, Puerto Rico on September 3, and Senegal on September 4, 2014.
